Biography:
Rex, a central character in Pixar's *Toy Story* franchise, first appears in the original *Toy Story* movie (1995). He is a Tyrannosaurus Rex toy, despite his anxieties about being a scary dinosaur.
He is voiced by Wallace Shawn and known for his neurotic personality and self-doubt. He often worries about not being menacing enough and his fear of confrontation, playing against the typical image of a fearsome T-Rex.
Throughout the *Toy Story* films, Rex's character develops as he gains confidence and proves his value to the group of toys. While still prone to anxiety, he becomes a more reliable and supportive friend to Woody and the other toys.
Rex continues to appear in the *Toy Story* universe, including *Toy Story 4*, maintaining his endearing personality and loyalty.
